Pros:

No watermarks.

Saves in HD. Legit 1080p+.

Audio stays in sync (youd be surprised how rare that is).

Cons:

Annoying setup.

Sometimes fails silently, considering it acts taking into consideration it saved but nada.

Interface looks next Windows XP met a MySpace theme.

Still... its my go-to. I even have a shortcut widget.

Why doesnt Instagram just allow us pull off this? I mean, TikTok lets you save considering audio (sorta), but IG acts subsequent to Reels are nuclear opening codes. Wild.

Real Talk: Should You Even Be con This?
Ugh. Im torn. upon one hand, I get it. We desire to keep that reel. exploit it to friends. Watch offline. most likely meme it later.
But creators deserve credit. fittingly here's my rule: I on your own download Reels if Im using them personally. Never reposting. Never monetizing. Just hoarding, tbh.

Weird trick I found. You paste the Reel URL into IGReelTXT, and it spits out a .txt file taking into account the audio link, thumbnail URL, and a hidden MP4 file link. Its in the manner of IGs debug data or something.
